Nos reuniremos en nuestra oficina a las 8:00 a.m. A solo 45 minutos de la ciudad de Oaxaca, se encuentra el encantador bosque de La Cumbre Ixtepeji, un vibrante ecosistema de pinos y encinas que alberga gran parte de la biodiversidad de la Sierra Norte. La comunidad protege colectivamente el bosque mediante un sistema de carga, en el que sus miembros dedican de 1 a 2 a\u00f1os a ser guardianes del territorio, un esfuerzo que se refleja en la conservaci\u00f3n de este para\u00edso natural.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de una breve presentaci\u00f3n, disfrutaremos de un picnic con caf\u00e9 y cocina tradicional oaxaque\u00f1a mientras nos conocemos y nos preparamos para la caminata.<\/p>\n<p>Al llegar a La Cumbre Ixtepeji, nuestro gu\u00eda explicar\u00e1 las caracter\u00edsticas \u00fanicas de este ecosistema de bosque nuboso. Alcanzaremos alturas de m\u00e1s de 3,270 metros, por lo que iremos a un ritmo adecuado para disfrutar plenamente del recorrido.<\/p>\n<p>Ixtepeji cuenta con una red de senderos adaptados a distintos niveles de excursionistas. Mientras caminamos por senderos adornados con flores silvestres y hongos, hablaremos sobre la historia de la lucha social para proteger los bosques de la Sierra Norte y c\u00f3mo las comunidades se han organizado para defender sus recursos. En el trayecto, llegaremos a miradores excepcionales que nos permitir\u00e1n apreciar la inmensidad del bosque. Tambi\u00e9n podremos observar c\u00f3mo las plantas de aire Tillandsia cuelgan de enormes robles, absorbiendo la humedad de las nubes que recorren el paisaje. \u00a1Este bosque est\u00e1 realmente vivo!<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de nuestra caminata por el ecoparque comunal, disfrutaremos de una comida con nuestros amigos locales de la Sierra.
