One day Learning, Preparing and Drinking Cacao

Fitness level: Easy / Group Size: 10-15 persons

WHAT YOU’LL DO

We meet at 13:00 PM in Macedonio Alcalá 802, Centro, Oaxaca de Juárez, Oaxaca, ring the bell ‘’A’’, between Bicibella and Café Punto Paz.

Come and experience an adventure where you will learn about Cacao and all the tradition behind this seed. You will learn about its history, how it was used in ancient times and its transformation through the years. You will also learn about the different types of seeds that currently exist and their different flavors, all their properties on a physical, mental and emotional level.

Later we will be able to live the whole process of creation. How does it go from being a nib to becoming a chocolate bar and/or a drink:

We will do the entire process of roasting, peeling, and grinding in the traditional “metate”. Later we will prepare the drink and finally we will close with a meditation cacao circle with live music and sound therapy around a fire, enjoying the drink that we just created together.
